How about Golf!

Our golf course is known as the first to be built in Southern California (and possibly the West) as a 3-Hole course. By1929 it was expanded to a full 18 hole course. Many tournaments were played here such as the Bobby Jones Invitational Tournament. Tiger Woods had played here as a Junior Golfer. Now it is a 9 -Hole course but can be played through twice. It is quite a challenge and is well kept and beautiful. Tee times must be booked in advance.

The Jeep Eco-Tour

Travel in an open-air vehicle and see sights that very few people get to experience. Go to back roads, behind locked gates, where you will find broad valleys, isolated coves, pristine beaches and near vertical shoreline paradises. Experience an unforgettable tour with your Conservancy Jeep Tour Guide who will take you into it all. You will have a new appreciation of this place called Catalina Island.

The Skyline Tour

This is a 2-½ tour taking guests 10 miles into the interior of the Island ending at the Airport. Along the way, you will be entertained by your driver with historical stories of the Island including the stories of the Indians that inhabited the Island. Guests will have a good chance of seeing our famous buffalo herd, the Bald eagles or possibly a deer or two. Also, incredible scenic views of the ocean and the deep canyons with their spectacular vistas.

The Undersea Tour
The Submarine Cruise is the closest to getting to Scuba Diving without doing it. You will be sitting 6 feet underwater looking out your window to the sea. Huge schools of fish, eel, maybe a seal, starfish and unbelievable underwater plants of every color will come to your window to the sea.
The El Rancho Escondido Hoedown
This is a rare opportunity for a trip; through the Island Conservancy’s Nature preserve- Catalina’s Scenic interior. You’ll see natures’ landscaping with plant life found only on Catalina all framed by rugged mountains, broad valleys, and picturesque coastlines. A stop at the “Airport In The Sky” is included before continuing on to El Ranchos Escondido, a private horse ranch founded by Phillip Wrigley.

Included is a BBQ dinner with all the trimmings, Country and Western & Folk Entertainment, a fire ring with complimentary bandanas and hats.

While there, you can tour the impressive Tack and Trophy room with the Wrigley’s buggy and stagecoach collection. There is a gift shop to visit and choose a souvenir to bring home for a memory of this very special evening.

The return trip will include vistas of the ocean and the mainland lights on the horizon unsurpassed in beauty.

Hawaiian Luau
Guests are welcomed with a lei and a complimentary Mai Tai to start the evening. Hawaiian music is playing while an authentic feast is being prepared for all to enjoy. Roasted Pig, pineapple and various fruits, along with rice and other Hawaiian favorites are served. The location is at the beautiful Beach Club on the ocean or can be in the famous Casino. A Polynesian show is performed even with some lessons for those who would like to learn the Hula.

Tour Vouchers

We also can set up a tour vouchers for any tours you may choose. Your guest would select the activity they would like to participate in and then hand in the voucher at that location. That could be the Casino Tour, bike rental, glass bottom boat, kayaking, a city tour, t-shirt, sweatshirt or hat. Parasailing, Undersea Tour, or a round of golf are all available with our voucher system. We design it to fit your needs.

Your Company name appears on the vouchers along with a short explanation about the activity being offered

Our greatest thrill is meeting new people, and knowing we will probably see them again. Our fulfillment is the success of the program!
